Thunacar Knott is to the North of the Langdale Pikes and is best visited in conjunction with the Pikes. This is one of those fells, like High Raise, that is unlikely to be the objective of a day's walk but, rather, part of a circuit of the peaks in the area. The same applies to Sergeant Man.
